Food Justice Activist | Sustainability & Healthy Buildings Strategist | IFPA Certified Fitness Trainer | IWE Certified Wellness Coach | Internationally Published Journalist | Documentary Filmmaker/Music Executive Producer | Sober 30+ years | Caregiver
My mission is rooted in personal experience. Having struggled with the devastating health effects of mold exposure and witnessing how everyday toxins (from common cleaners to air fresheners) undermine our well-being in spaces where we spend 90% of our time, I have dedicated my career to health advocacy.
For years, I served as a Fitness Trainer and Lifestyle Coach at premier institutions like Gold’s Gym, Equinox, and Blink Fitness (since 2012), focusing on transforming individual health. I quickly realized that optimal wellness wasn't possible if the home, office, or gym was inherently toxic. This led me to pivot from bodies to buildings, making environmental health education a non-negotiable part of my coaching.
Today, that focus is a market imperative. With employees and tenants demanding safe, healthy spaces, and investors prioritizing the 'S' (Social) of ESG, health is no longer an amenity—it is the foundation of asset value.
As a Sustainability and Healthy Buildings Strategist, I partner with developers, architects, and project managers in New York and New Jersey to tackle this challenge head-on. Through my firm, Preventive Lifestyle Assistance Network LLC—a NYC, NYS, and PANYNJ M/WBE-certified business—I provide the strategic guidance needed to create built environments that prioritize the health, well-being, and equity of their occupants.
We don't just guide projects toward compliance; we help create spaces that are inherently resilient, healthy, and profitable, delivering true social value to our communities.
