ABOUT PLAN’S FOUNDER
MARCI KENON

Marci Kenon, IFPA-certified fitness trainer and IWE-certified wellness coach, is the owner of Preventive Lifestyle Assistance Network (PLAN) and an independent BODi coach.

She launched PLAN in 2019 as a Harlem-based provider of the CDC’s National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP) with in-person classes held locally at Ephesus SDA Church and virtual classes in both Spanish and English in collaboration with the Institute for Family Health (IFH).

Marci began preparing health challenges at the request of executives who preferred their inclusive nature instead of the CDC’s diabetes prevention classes tailored for people diagnosed with borderline diabetes. That request was a factor that led to PLAN’s pivot to providing overall wellness services to organizations.

Since 2012, Marci has trained and coached clients at Gold’s Gym, Equinox, and Blink Fitness. She is a graduate of the Dalton School in New York City where she currently serves as a class officer for Alumni Relations. She’s also a graduate of the University of Southern California (USC) with a B.A. in Print Journalism and International Relations.

Marci’s most important role today is that of a caregiver for her aging, health- challenged mother. She believes charity starts at home, but should not end there.
